We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team for 20 hours per week in Cannock. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our sales efforts.

Greet and assist customers in a warm and professional manner
Offer product information and recommendations to meet customer needs
Process sales transactions accurately using the till system
Handle cash, card payments, and maintain a balanced cash drawer
Maintain a tidy and well-organised sales floor
Restock shelves and update product displays
Assist with inventory management and stock checks
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly
Stay informed about current promotions and special offers

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanour
Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
Good time management and organisational skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Enthusiasm for learning about products and sharing knowledge with customers
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation
