The JYSK Talent Programme is a training and development programme designed for dedicated talents among our store employees, willing to learn about leadership and prepare to take over higher positions in the near future.
At the JYSK Talent Programme, you will be trained in sales, management and personal development which take place over two learning modules. Hence, the goal for you as a Talent Programme Graduate is to prepare you to be ready to be Deputy Store Manager within six months to a year.
To qualify for the Talent Programme, you don’t need to have a long background at JYSK, but it is key that you do have a great attitude and a genuine passion to further your career with us!
As a Store Manager Trainee, you will be trained to be in charge of one of the United Kingdom's JYSK stores in the near future. You will get a professional management training in combination with the opportunity to work in different stores.
You will enroll in a training programme together with other trainees, which consists of five high-quality training modules, teaching in three academy subjects and work in close collaboration with selected mentors.
You will also become part of a fantastic community that contributes both with professional sparring and social events.
The District Manager Trainee Programme is designed for our internal store managers who are ready for the next step on the career ladder.
As a District Manager Trainee, you will be still responsible for your own store but will spend many days on the road with your mentor, who equips you with the skills you need to take over the responsibilities for your own district in the future.
The training consists of five modules, including a lot of practical tasks and projects back in your district.
The Retail Manager Trainee programme is an international programme where you will get to work with other trainees from countries around the world and learn about retail in different cultures. While continuing in your position as District Manager, the programme will help prepare you for being responsible for managing your own region.
The training consists of several training modules; including some practical tasks and projects in your own country and aims to develop your skills in communication, retail management, planning and development. Among other things, you will work with targets, budgets, distance management, development and implementation of the annual business plan.
